Wanna share something about “status quo effect”. This thing is one of theory that is developed in behavioral economic. This theory simply said that once we have made a decision, we tend not to revisit it or consider whether it still makes sense in the present time. Think about it, even though it looked like a strange theory, it is a fact indeed. Even I still use speedy as my Internet Service Provider, even though the performance is very bad. While, on the other side, there’re tons of other ISP that cost me less and can perform more than my present ISP.
Status Quo Effect make me think that it is important to review many thing in our life. Cos, if it is not reviewed, we won’t know there’s something wrong until some day… Bang !!! 😛
